Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind visited the Hyderabad hospital on Wednesday to take stock of the child’s situation who was injured in the stampede that took place on December 4 during the screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4. The reports also suggested that the Tollywood superstar’s father also met the husband and father of the deceased woman in hospital.
This comes hours after Telangana Health Secretary Christina Z. Chongthu and Hyderabad police commissioner C. V. Anand also paid a visit to the survivor and shared the heartbreaking update that the victim has suffered brain damage and will take time to recover.
“The survivor has suffered brain damage due to lack of oxygen supply during the stampeded and the doctors have said that it will be a long haul for the brain to develop the capacity to analyse signals,” stated Anand.
For those unaware, the survivor was with his mother at the Sandhya theatre on December 4, when Allu Arjun arrived unannounced at the screening of his film. The star’s presence created a stampede- like situation and which caused the lost of woman, Revathi.
Earlier, in connection to the investigation, Hyderabad police had arrested Allu Arjun. Hours after his release, the star was granted interim bail by Telangana High Court.
