These tactics are being utilised to confuse voters during elections. Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh were recently the targets of deepfake videos. Both took action in this case, including filing a FIR.

A similar video featuring actor Allu Arjun has surfaced on social media. While releasing the video, he purportedly promotes the Congress Party. However, the video was made with artificial intelligence and is fraudulent.

In the video, Allu Arjun stands in an open-top automobile, waving and smiling at the audience. His wife, Sneha Reddy, may also be spotted with him. Many people encircle the couple.

‘Allu Arjun is in the fray for the honour of Congress.’ the description of the post read. While another guy stated, ‘Allu Arjun is India’s biggest superstar. He’s campaigning for the Congress Party.’

The video is from 2022, when Allu Arjun visited New York. He represented India at the ‘India Day Parade’, one of the most well-known annual events sponsored by the Indian diaspora in America. Allu was also honoured with the title of Grand Marshal. Following this, the actor himself shared footage related to the show.

The couple recently attended the 75th anniversary of India’s independence in New York. Allu Arjun posted a video of himself waving the national flag during the ceremony on his Instagram Story, captioned, ‘It was a privilege to be the Grand Marshal of the India Day ceremony in New York.’

On the work front, Allu Arjun will soon star in Pushpa 2: The Rule, which has been almost completed and will hit theatres on August 15. Rashmika Mandanna will also star in the film. Meanwhile, Rashmika was also a victim of deepfake videos.
