
Amitabh Bachchan, the megastar of Bollywood, has had himself vaccinated against COVID-19. Apart from son Abhishek Bachchan, who is on location for a film shoot, Big B announced the news on his social media accounts and blog, claiming that he and his family had received the first dose of the vaccine.
Amitabh Bachchan, 78, wrote on Twitter, “Got it done! This afternoon, I got my CoviD vaccine… “Everything is fine…,” says the narrator. Last year, the actor, his son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and granddaughter Aradhya were all found to be infected with the virus.

Meanwhile, Amitabh has a range of exciting projects lined up for him in the near future. He’ll soon be seen in Rumy Jafry’s ‘Chehre,’ in which he’ll share screen time for the first time with Emraan Hashmi. Amitabh Bachchan is already working on a few other projects. He will appear alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the epic fantasy action adventure film Brahmastra. Jhund and Mayday are both in his kitty. He was last seen with Ayushmann Khurrana in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo.
