Ram Kapoor shared screen space with Alia Bhatt in her debut film Student Of The Year, which was directed by Karan Johar, and also introduced Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. During an interview, Ram opened up on Alia’s growth as an actress and recalled how people dismissed her back when she was young, but she has the potential to be the next Deepika Padukone.
In an interview, Ram stated, “If she goes the way she is going now, she will be Deepika. She is not a bloody star child. She is more professional than anyone; I have seen it. In today’s time, if you are not like that, the industry says bye.”
Further ahead, in a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain star said that Alia is so professional that some ad filmmakers who have worked with her called her ‘sir’ on sets. He recalled that during her debut film, SOTY, Alia was the youngest, as compared to Varun and Sidharth, however, nobody would have believed what she has achieved today.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia is currently working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, which also features Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
