Alia Bhatt has tested negative for coronavirus, according to reports. The actress is taking a COVID-19 test nearly every day and her report turned out to be negative on March 9. A source revealed that despite testing negative, the actress has isolated herself. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is directing Gangubai Kathiawadi, has also tested positive for COVID-19, says reports.
“Ranbir Kapoor caught the virus on the sets of Brahmastra and is recovering currently,” the source said. Brahmastra, helmed by Ayan Mukerji, also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. The release date of the film is yet to be announced as it was delayed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
On the work front, Alia will be seen in Gangubai Kathiawadi. The film will release in theatres on July 30, 2021. Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on author Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. The book was published in 2011. Alia also has SS Rajamouli’s RRR and has Karan Johar’s Takht in line.
The actress also launched her own production house earlier this month, titled Eternal Sunshine Productions. The actress shared the logo of the production house on Instagram, which showed a kitten holding a fish balloon.
