Alia Bhatt takes us to the magical world of Harry Potter, Narrates a chapter from the ‘Philosopher’s Stone’

We have to admit that when the real world becomes utter chaotic, we find escape in books! And when the book takes us to the magical world of wizards, it becomes even more fantastic. Earlier this month, the official Harry Potter universe website ‘Wizarding World’ announced an initiative that would take fans on a journey to Hogwarts.

J.K Rolling in collaboration with ‘Wizarding World’ announced ‘Harry Potter at Home’, and fans went gaga. This initiative involved reading by famous celebrities who narrated the first part of the book, ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’.

Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry, narrated the first chapter ‘The boy who lived’, and the world went crazy with it.
But there is even a big news for Indian fans, as Alia Bhatt has been chosen to read the eighth chapter and she was also joined by Alec Baldwin, who in turn joined by his beautiful daughter.

Alia took to her Instagram to create suspense around this big news and recently breaking the silence, she shared a video clip of her narrating the eight chapter. In the video, she graciously gave voice to Professor Snape, Hermoine and Harry. It’s an absolute treat to watch her and we can’t keep our calm!

Along with the video, Alia wrote, “Two months ago Harry, Hogwarts, and the wizarding world walked into my life and almost immediately, in my heart. Somehow, when I was younger life always intervened and I never quite got around to befriending the books. But. Just like magic, two months ago, I did. And, just like magic, I was asked to be a part of Harry Potter at Home.
10 million points to Gryffindor! 💜

Wizarding World quotes Alia, “It wasn’t until lockdown in India that Harry, Hogwarts and the wizarding world became regular fixtures in my life. Somehow, despite the fierce insistence of my sister, life always intervened, and I never quite got around to befriending the book. But confined to my home – I journeyed to Hogwarts with Harry and was transported to a world to endless possiblities.”

We are super excited about this, and looking forward to more such reading session. If you still haven’t been familiar with the adventures of Harry, visit Wizarding World and listen to these stories, because you are missing on something big here.
