Alia Bhatt is currently travelling to promote her upcoming film Jigra. The actress was in Hyderabad recently for the same, and the same event was attended by fellow actress Samantha Prabhu.
In a video, Alia could be heard singing Oo antava at the event. The original song featured Samantha and Allu Arjun as they performed in the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. Samantha sat next to Alia, who laughed while she sang the track.
Samantha hugged her and the crowd cheered her on after she finished singing. The host of the event referred to Alia as “such a sweetheart” in the clip. A spokesperson for the actor could be heard saying, “First and hopefully last time.” Vedang Raina, who also stars in the movie, and Rana Daggubati were also present at the event. Alia opted for a black outfit for the event.
In a video, Alia was heard saying, “My dearest Samantha, you are a hero on and off-screen. I have so much admiration for your talent, for your resilience, for your strength. It’s not easy to be a woman in a man’s world, but you have surpassed gender.”
