Alia Bhatt is preparing for the release of her much-anticipated flick Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which stars Ranveer Singh. The makers just released the first song from the film, Tum Kya Mile, and it has been trending ever since.
Alia posted a video from a Dubai beach on Thursday in which she is seen lip-syncing to the song. For those who are unaware, the actress is now on holiday in Dubai with her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor. They were sighted at Mumbai airport a few days ago before departing for their vacation.
In the video, Alia is seen wearing a white floral print dress. She flaunted her no make-up look as she sang the lyrics. “Pehle pahado mein aur ab beach pe… hum toh gaate rahenge #TumKyaMile,” the actress captioned her post.
Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal sing the love song. Pritam composed the music, while Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics.
Tum Kya Mile captures the spirit of love and the calming on-screen chemistry of Ranveer and Alia. The actress is seen dancing with Ranveer in chiffon sarees amidst snow-capped mountains.
Karan Johar recently released the first official teaser for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film also stars veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.
The one-minute teaser reveals little about the film. The clip encapsulates the essence of Rocky and Rani’s love tale, set to the lovely tune of Tum Kya Mile.
Rocky & Rani Kii Prem Kahaani looks to be a family-friendly big-screen entertainment, combining Johar’s storytelling prowess with an excellent ensemble cast, grandeur, and music. Karan returns to the director’s chair after a six-year absence. The film will be released in theatres on July 28.
