Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali celebrate his 58th birthday on Wednesday, February 24th. On this occasion, the director hosted a bash at his house, which was attended by Alia Bhatt, Meezan Jaaferi and Sharmin Segal, among others.
Yesterday, the much awaited teaser of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi was released, which stars Alia Bhatt in titular role. At the director’s Birthday bash, Alia Bhatt recreated her Gangubai Kathiawadi pose for the paparazzi.
On Wednesday, the makers of film Gangubai Kathiawadi released the teaser of the film. Alia Bhatt took to her social media to share the teaser and wishing the filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, she wrote, “Happy Birthday Sir.. I can think of no better way to celebrate you and your birthday. Presenting a part of my heart & soul. Meet .. Gangu! (sic).”

The release date of the movie was revealed with a new poster. Gangubai Kathiawadi will be released on July 30th, 2021. Sharing the poster, Alia wrote, “In cinemas 30th July, 2021.”
