A special screening of Brahmastra was held on Monday at Juhu, Mumbai, in advance of the release. The major stars of the movie, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, were present for the screening. The two were seen leaving the theatre in a video posted by a paparazzi account. Along with Ranbir and Alia, Shaheen Bhatt, Alia’s sister, and film director Ayan Mukerji also attended the special screening.
As they exited the theatre, Ranbir is seen supporting Alia’s arm from behind in the footage. Ranbir dressed down in a white t-shirt and pair of denim trousers, while Alia went for an olive-green outfit and a denim jacket.
Alia also uploaded a video to her Instagram page from the theatre. She, Ranbir, and Ayan were all visible in the video, with the cast of the movie in the backdrop. Alia claims: “We have some special news. So we are watching Brahmastra in 3D for the first time together and we have our crew also.” Ayan then says, “It’s a huge moment for us. As we were all together so we decided that one day before the release we thought to watch the film with the audience. So we have decided that one day before the release, that’s on Thursday..” Ranbir adds, “That’s September 8. Lucky number 8.” Then, Alia and Ayan let their fans know that this audience screening will take place in Mumbai and that they’ll be releasing more information about it shortly.
Brahmastra, stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in the key roles. On September 9, the movie will be launched in theatres all around India, with RRR director SS Rajamouli serving as a presenter for the south, where it will also be shown in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
