Akshay Kumar has resumed shooting and is currently in Scotland shooting for Bell Bottom alongside Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi and Vaani Kapoor. Akshay has always been known as a workaholic even now and has several projects lined up. The shoot for his current film would be wrapped up soon and almost immediately, he would jump to shoot another awaited project. The actor will soon head to Mumbai and start shooting for Prithviraj, co-staring Manushi Chhillar.
According to the reports of Mid-Day, the shoot for Prithviraj would resume from October. The pandemic led lockdown had postponed the shooting of the film and later due to heavy Mumbai rains, the makers of Prithviraj had to dismantle the outdoor set of the film, which resembled 12th century palace in Dahisar.
According to Mid-Day, Aditya Chopra and director Chandraprakash Dwivedi has now asked the team to kick-start the groundwork of the film so that the film can hit the floors in October. Prithviraj, has a storyline based on the ruler of the Chahamana dynasty, which will be a debut movie for Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar.
Akshay Kumar will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi which was all set to release when lockdown was announced but then got postponed. New release date has not been yet announced. However, Akshay will be seen as a transgender in Laxmmi Bomb and the film will witness an OTT release this Diwali.
