The recently released Hema committee report, which shed light on the harassment and ill-treatment suffered by women in the Malayalam film industry is sparking conversations across the country.
As some shocking revelations are coming out, an old video where Akshay Kumar talks about a fan violating boundaries has been resurfaced on the internet. In the video circulating on Reddit, the actor reminisced about the time when two fans approached his female co-star for a photo. After clicking the picture, one of the fans kissed her on the cheek and then both ran in different directions.
“Naam nahi loonga. Ek heroine thi, toh 2 ladke aaye aur main door baitha hua tha, main dekh raha tha. Voh ladke aaye aur bole, ‘Ek photo?’ Yeh photo liya aur usne bola, ‘1, 2, 3.’ Jaise hi 3 bola, he kissed her,” narrated Akshay. He added that the whole thing was planned as they both ran in either directions, which confused the security as to whom to catch – whether the guy who kissed her or the guy who clicked the picture.
Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan were listening to the whole incident, and they were shocked.
