Aishwarya Sakhuja seeks help from Mumbai Police on obscene remarks made by an Internet user

Celebrities post a variety of pictures on their social media handles, to gather fan’s attention. People love to see them and they admire these celebs. But some people use this platform to body shame actresses and comment nonsensical things about their body, shape and size. Such people live in a bubble where they are masked behind the platform and believe that they are unidentifiable. But, actresses are taking the lead to change this horrific situation. They are being vocal about such comments and hence, aware us more on what lies behind the glamorous world.

Recently, Saas Bina Sasural fame Aishwarya Sakhuja became a victim of body shaming when a user asked her to get the size of her breasts increased. This comment made Aishwarya mighty upset and enraged and she took the screenshot to post on her social media to bring to the attention of Mumbai Police. She wrote, “”Why is this ok? Why should I take this lying down? Why should I ignore it? It may seem small to some but I refuse to take this nonsense.”

Through her stories she indicated that this is not the first time that she has had distasteful comments like this, but she has suffered from such comments in the past as well. She used the tag #ihadenoughofthis and we also stand in support of her.

Fans also extended their support and a user wrote, “People think, on the internet they can hide behind a mask and be safe from any consequence. I’m sure more than 90% of them won’t have the guts to say it upfront. Such a sick mentality.”

Another wrote, “No ! You shouldn’t ! This is definitely NOT Okay! Lots of guys send messages like this and it’s really frustrating and disgusting. I hope @MumbaiPolice will take some action against them!”
