After Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, Mika Singh supports Ekta Kapoor, ‘She gave a break to SSR, how can she be targeted?’

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise opened a lot of discussions starting from mental wellness to the persisting nepotism in the Bollywood industry. His untimely demise reignited the debate over ‘privileges’ and the social media, consequently, divided into groups of two, fighting against each other, in order to seek a permanent solution to the problems that outsiders face in this glamorous industry.

Various actors like Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and others have been on the receiving end of all the online flak and criticism. Along with them, legal notices have been slammed on actors and producers like Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar by advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha. These Bollywood biggies have been accused of contributing to the death of Sushant and pushing him on the edge to ultimately take a drastic step to end his life. Now, Bollywood and Punjabi singer Mika Singh has come out in support of Ekta Kapoor.

Mika Singh in his recent Instagram live session with a journalist voiced his opinions on a lot of things. He mentioned that he doesn’t understand why Ekta Kapoor has been targeted as the producer is responsible for giving a big break to the late actor and because of her, Sushant went on to become a household name. In his Insta live he said, “When Ekta has given Sushant a big break, how can she be targeted?” Watch the video at 12:30 mins:

Soon after the reports of a case being filed against Ekta Kapoor and some big Bollywood celebrities, she took to her Instagram to slam reporters and penned a lengthy note to express her disappointment over such reports by suggesting that she was the one who launched Sushant.

She wrote, “She had written, “Thanku for the case for not casting sushi….when Actually I LAUNCHED HIM. I’m beyond upset at how convoluted theories can b! Pls let family n frns mourn in peace! Truth shallprevail. CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!!!! A police case has been filed against eight people including Bollywood directors @karanjohar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and @ektarkapoor along with actor @beingsalmankhan in connection with the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, news agency ANI reported on Wednesday.”
