After Sushant Singh Rajput, Film producer Steve Bing commits suicide, jumps off from 27th floor, due to depression!

Steve Bing, American Film producer and businessman who was also a founder of Shangri-La, an organization dealing in real estate, entertainment and music, took a drastic step to end his life on 22nd June, ‘20.
He was widely known for co-writing the story of Kangaroo Jack and his contribution in the screenplay of the same movie, which was released in 2003.

As per reports the producer jumped off from his luxurious 27th floor apartment which is located in Los Angeles’ Century City, on Monday. The reports also suggest that the film producer took this drastic step as he was suffering from depression.

As per the reports, Steve became a victim of depression as he did not have people whom he could talk to and due to corona-virus induced lock-down, there was an absence of humans from his day-to-day life, losing human contact due to quarantine. He took to heavenly abode at the age of 55 and is survived by 2 children which includes Damian Hurley, born to him and actress Elizabeth Hurley when they were in a relationship and his daughter Kira Bonder with former Tennis player Lisa Bonder. The late producer tasted success and riches at a very young age. According to some reports, he inherited $600 million from his grandfather Leo S. Bing who majorly dealt in the estate segment.

Later he invested in various projects including, an animated movie titled, The Polar Express in which he invested a whopping $80 million, and later as the movie went on to being super successful at the box office minting $285 million. He also invested in the 2017 movie Beowulf, a Rolling Stone concert, and went on to solely produce Jerry Lee Lewis’ album Last Man Standing.
