Sushant Singh Rajput’s father , KK Singh had filed an FIR against actress Rhea Chakraborty in Patna, accusing her of abetting his son’s suicide. A team of Bihar police then arrived to Mumbai to further investigate the case. Later, Rhea Chakraborty with the help of her lwayer Satish Maneshinde, filed a petition in Supreme Court, and requested to transfer the investigation case to Mumbai police as she does not have faith in Bihar Police.Now, Sushant Singh’s family has filed a caveat in Supreme Court.
Republic reported that, Sushant’s family took this step for not allowing Rhea Chakraborty’s petition to be heard. Advocate Vikas Singh, the family’s lawyer will be present in all future court proceedings. Vikas also stated that, “If she (Rhea) has moved the apex court, she should have filed a petition seeking CBI investigation. FIR is registered in Patna, now she (Rhea) has filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking stay and transfer of investigation to Mumbai. Isse jyada kya proof chahiye ki (what more proof is needed that) somebody in Mumbai Police is helping her.”
