After summoning more than 30 people in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, the Mumbai Police has also decided to question the famous film critic Rajeev Masand. According to the reports, the film critic has been summoned by the Mumbai Police over giving negative ratings to the late actor’s movies.
The journalist has been called upon by the Mumbai Police on July 22 for some questioning in the 34-year-old actor’s suicide case.
The summoning of the film critic came after the Queen actor Kangana Ranaut made a statement in an interview with Republic TV, she requested the authorities to summon Rajeev Masand, Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra and Mahesh Bhatt.
Aditya Chopra was questioned by the Mumbai Police on Saturday and the producer-director was questioned over the film “Paani” which got shelved.
Apart from Rhea Chakraborty, Mukesh Chhabra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sanjana Sanghi, Sushant’s family,friend Sandip Ssingh, actor’s house staff, YRF’s Shanoo Sharma, among others have been called for interrogation by the Mumbai Police so far.
Sushant was found hanging in his Bandra apartment on June 14. Reports have stated that his death was due to asphyxia. The reports suggest that the actor was felt left out and professional rivalry have also come up in this suicide case.
