Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise took place on 14th June 2020. He committed a suicide at his Bandra apartment on Sunday. Sushant Singh’s last rites were performed on Monday at Vile Parle crematorium. Fans, colleagues and friends mourned on the death of Kedarnath actor and thus, assumed that nepotism and hypocrisy was the reason of Sushant Singh’s suicide. Although there was no suicide note left, fans have asked CBI inquiry for the actor’s demise. Post Sushant’s death, Rhea Chakraborty was interrogated by the police for almost nine hours. As per the reports, Rhea talked about how Sushant wasn’t taking his medicines and how the couple fought due to which Rhea left his house and went to her house, few days prior to his demise.
After receiving a huge backlash and criticism from the netizens, Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have restricted their comments section on Instagram. Moreover, Karan has even unfollowed celebs on Twitter after the filmmaker and star kids were trolled for their hypocrisy and nepotism practice.
Recently, Rhea Chakraborty also disabled her Instagram comments. While for some of her IG posts, Rhea has turned off the comments section, for a few, she has limited the comments to her friends.
On the work front, Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput were to come together for a film directed by Rumi Jaffery. However, the demise of Sushant Singh has shattered everything.
