Adnan Sami exclaims ‘Change is here’ on Sonu Nigam’s remarks over ‘music mafia’

Singer Adnan Sami has stood next to Sonu Nigam in support over his remark of ‘music mafia’. The veteran singer believes that the Indian film and music Industry needs to take a close look at its functioning.

A few days after Sonu Nigam called out the ‘music mafia’ of the Indian film industry, singer Adnan Sami has also acknowledged the practice of power play and nepotism in the industry. The Pakistani-born Indian singer on Monday insisted on a ‘herculean‘ shake-up of the Indian film and music Industry. Sami shared his views about the struggle of survival in the industry on social media. Supporting Sonu Nigam’s statement, he stressed upon the fact that a change is knocking at the doors of the Indian music industry.

Adding to this, Sami said that the Indian music industry has an abundance of creative minds but the role of god is being played by those who have no clue about the art. The 48-year-old pointed at producers and the younger crop of singers. “We have 1.3 Billion people in India by the grace of God- Is all that we have to offer is ‘remakes’ & ‘remixes’,” Sami wrote on his Instagram.
“For God sake, STOP THIS & allow the truly talented new & veteran artistes BREATH & give you creative peace Musically & Cinematically!!! Have you, the Movie & Music ‘Mafia’ who have arrogantly entitled yourselves as the ‘self professed & self appointed gods‘ not learned anything from history that you can NEVER control art & the ecosystem of creativity of any field?,” he added.

The Indian Film & Music Industry SERIOUSLY needs a ‘Herculean‘ SHAKE UP. Especially in the context of music, New Singers, Veteran Singers, Music Composers & Music Producers – who are being exploited to the HILT!! “Fall into the DICTAT or you’re OUT”… Why is creativity beyond “CONTROLLED” by those you have no clue about ‘creativity’ & are trying to play GOD??
