- With the film ‘Major,’ Telugu actor Adivi Sesh makes his Bollywood debut. The trailer for the film was recently released by its creators. It is based on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who sacrificed his life during the Mumbai terror attacks of 26/11.
Adivi, who plays Major Sandeep, is ecstatic with the feedback he’s received since the trailer’s release. He states he has given it his all to bring the character he is portraying in the film to life. The actor says, “I’m thrilled and so excited with all the positive reviews and love coming my way for ‘Major’. It’s an honor to be playing such a brave and valiant character and a national hero in this all Indian film. I hope to do justice to Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s memory and hope to bring his inspirational story to the big screen and to people across the country,”
‘Major’ is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in association with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies. Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Revathi, Prakash Raj, Anish Kuruvilla, and Murali Sharma are among the cast members. On June 3, the film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam.
