Ghosh made headlines a few months ago when she had accused director Anurag Kashyap of sexual harassment. She had also registered an FIR against Kashyap in the Versova Police Station. However, the director had refuted her claims.
Notably, the Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale had supported Ghosh in her #MeToo claims. He had also arranged a meeting with the actress and Maharashtra Governor, Bhagat Singh Koshyari. In the meeting, the actress had demanded security and justice.
