According to the latest news, the Enforcement Directorate has issued another fresh summons to actress Jacqueline Fernandez for the Sukesh Chandrashekhar money laundering case.
However, the actress was supposed to appear before the investigating agency today. But, she skipped the dates due to some personal reasons.
Jacqueline was also asked to appear before ED’s in Delhi office on Monday, 18th October. She was asked to summon to record her statement in connection to a money laundering case as being probed against alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekar and his partner Leena Paul.
Earlier Jacqueline was examined as a witness in the case and was asked to appear before the ED on 30th August. While she skipped the ED questioning for the third time, Jacqueline has also informed her fans through social media that she is shooting for a movie.
She has posted with her co-star Akshay Kumar. The actress also revealed that she is shooting for a new movie, ‘Ram Setu’ in Ooty.She also shared that, “Feels great to be back on sets with team Ram Setu,”
Earlier this week, actress Nora Fatehi was also asked to summon by the investigating agency. Her team had later issued a statement saying she has been called by the ED as a witness in the case.
The statement shared was, “Nora Fatehi has been the victim around the case, and being a witness. She is co-operating and helping the officers in the investigation. We would like to make it very clear that she has not been a part of any money laundering activity. She does not know or have any personal connection with the accused. And, has been called by ED to strictly help with the investigation.
