Actor Salman Khan reveals about Director Mahesh Manjrekar having cancer

During the trailer launch of Antim Salman Khan had said that Director Mahesh Manjrekar had suffered from Cancer and his treatment was going on before Antim got on floors.

Salman Khan starrer upcoming movie Antim: The Final Truth directed by Mahesh Manjrekar trailer released today. The movie also stars Actors Aayush Sharma and Mahima Makwana in the lead roles. Being the most awaited movie of the year, the fans are eagerly looking forward to see Salman khan locking horns with his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.

The makers have revealed the trailer of the movie Antim: The Final Truth today and it has taken the internet by a storm. The team had come together for the trailer launch of the movie in the city.

However, during the event, Salman went on to reveal that director Mahesh knew about his urinary bladder cancer diagnosis before Antim: The Final Truth had hit the floors. But, this news was kept under the wraps.

Salman Khan stated, “Mahesh got to know that he had cancer before shooting Antim. He didn’t tell us. But now, he is cancer-free,”

Talking about the same, Mahesh said, “I was lucky that the chemo didn’t affect me. I had to take chemo before surgery. Passion drives me. There are so many people who have got cancer and fought, so I wasn’t taken aback.

The cast was cordial. Salman and Aayush were a great support.” Furthermore, Mahesh also spoke about the film and said that it is a black comedy. “This is a very serious film, but it has humour too. There is a black comedy in it. I am happy with the way film has shaped up,” he added.

Antim: The Final Truth is all set to release on November 26.
