Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor’s brother Rajiv Kapoor, also known as ‘Chimpu’ passed away at age of 58 on February 9. He suffered a massive cardiac arrest, following to which he was taken to the Inlaks Hospital, which was closest medical facility available. The doctors declared dead on his arrival.
When contacted to Randhir Kapoor, he confirmed the sad news, “I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him.” He added, “I am at the hospital, waiting for his body.”
Rajiv Kapoor is notably known for his performance in ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ and many more. He has also directed ‘Prem Granth,’ which starred Rishi Kapoor in the lead role.
