Bollywood Actor R Madhavan is feeling super proud as his son Vedaant Madhavan who is a swimming champion, bags five gold medals for the nation today at the Malaysian Invitational age group championship 2023.

Taking his Social media handles such as Instagram and Twitter, the 52- year-old talented actor, shared this big and exciting news with his 3.9 million followers.

Posting the picture of his talented son, the actor wrote “With gods grace and all your wishes Vedaant gets 5 gold medals for India with two PBs at the Malaysian Invitational age group championships, 2023 held this weekend at Kuala Lumpur. Elated and very grateful.”

Fans and followers of The 3 Idiots actor could not help themselves and congratulated him as they showered his son Vedaant with many blessings.

Actor Darshan Kumar commented “Heartiest congratulations bhai ji” and RJ Kartik wrote “Many Many congratulations”.

For the 17-year-old swimmer, Vedaant Madhavan, this is not the first time when he has achieved something so big. He also won the 48th Junior National Aquatics Championship held in India. That time the budding talent bagged 4 gold medals and 3 silver medals.

Vedaant is also known for breaking the record of Indian history by completing the 1500m freestyle within 16:01.73 seconds.

Vedaant Madhavan was born on August 21, 2005. He moved to Dubai for 6 months to receive his swimming training in 2021, and to prepare for Danish Open, held in 2022.
