Actor Emraan Hashmi reveals untold truth about Bollywood Industry

In an interview with a radio channel, Emraan Hashmi reveals on why he doesn’t attend Bollywood parties.

Emraan Hashmi is known for his down to earth nature, he is never seen involved in Bollywood events or parties. This time during the promotion of his upcoming film “Mumbai Saga,” he reveals some facts and cleared rumours about himself. During a conversation with radio host, Emraan Hashmi revealed some unfortunate truths of the Bollywood industry. 

Emraan said, “Aisa toh hai (This is a fact). There are no two ways about it. That is the truth of our industry. But it is not just because of that. I think a person’s life should be more than just their profession.” He further says that he maintains a strong work ethic in place and after his job on the set is done, he chooses to maintain distance from all Bollywood parties and events simply because of how pretentious they can get.

Furthermore, the RJ asked a few questions to Emraan. Emraan was questioned on whom does he credits for keeping him calm and down to earth. The actor responded, “I remain grounded because of my friends, whom I have known for years, who have nothing to do with the film industry. I need to credit my family as well for keeping me rooted and I cherish their criticism, as it gives me a ‘realistic perspective.’ Distancing from the film industry after spending so much time on set helps me maintain my sanity.”

Emraan Hashmi will soon be seen sharing screen opposite John Abraham in their upcoming movie ‘Mumbai Saga.’ The film is directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by T-series owner Bhushan Kumar. Mumbai Saga also stars Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar and Kajal Aggarwal.
