One of the beloved director-actor duos that have always mesmerized the audience with their collaboration would be Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan, respectively. Every time the duo has joined forces for a project, it has been hit and the audience has never been left disappointed. Be it films such as Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Apke Hai Koun or Prem Ratan Dhan Payo among others, they have made every film worth watching.
Last year, Sooraj Barjatya and Salman announced that they would be collaborating on yet another massive project after a 8-year-long hiatus. The last time they came together was for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). The upcoming film will mark their fifth collaboration and it is going to be huge.
Ever since the initial announcement regarding the film, fans have been highly anticipating any vital details about the movie. The actor and director also stated that the upcoming project will be made on a widescale basis, leaving no stones unturned.
Fans have been waiting for any such crucial update about the movie, however, it is also evident that Sooraj and Salman are quite busy with their ongoing schedules.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, it has been stated, “Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan are working towards and looking forward to a bigger vision and large-scale project. Sooraj Barjatya is directing a film before he collaborates with the superstar and, as we all know, Salman has a packed schedule for the next 26 months.”
This suggests that the project will take longer than imagined to turn into reality. Though, fans will have to wait a little longer to witness the ultimate movie, which will be worthwhile as it will be one of a kind drama and memorable too.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in Tiger 3. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film featured Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in key roles. He will also be collaborating with Dharmatic Productions for Karan Johar’s The Bull. Salman will also be appearing in a titular role in Tiger vs Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
