On Thursday night, a social media article went viral claiming that Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail will release actor Ajaz Khan on bail on May 19, 2023.
“Ajaz Khan after strenuous 2 years and 2 months behind the bars gets the bail and will be released from Arthur Jail on the 19th May at 6.40 pm,” stated the caption of a photo that Viral Bhayani posted.
The message also mentioned how happy Khan’s wife was and how much she missed her husband. “It’s a happy moment for us and can’t wait to see him at home with us , we have missed him immsely these years.”
Ajaz Khan, an Indian actor who is 41 years old, is best known for appearing in the acclaimed reality television show ‘Bigg Boss’ during its seventh season. He was a wild card entry who gained a huge fan base for his consistently abrasive but no-nonsense demeanour. The audience and his other roommates both enjoyed his wit and comedy.
In the next season, he came back as a challenger, however after a fight with participant Ali Quli Mirza, he was sent out of the house.
In March 2021, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) apprehended Khan at the Mumbai airport for unlawful narcotics possession. The actor was in possession of roughly 31 Alprazolam tablets at the time of his arrest.
The actor was denied bail by the Bombay High Court in 2022 on the grounds that the chargesheet brought against him listed him as a suspect in narcotics purchases and unlawful trafficking.
Witness accounts also stated that the actor frequently took advantage of children to obtain drugs for him and that he even gave some of them narcotics. However, an NCB officer said that he was also detained on suspicion of having ties to the Batata Gang.
Khan made his acting debut in the 2003 film “Patth,” and since then has been in the films “Ek… The Power of One,” “Allah Ke Banday,” “Rakta Charitra II,” “Lakeer ka Fakeer,” “Ya Rab,” and “Love Day – Pyaar Ka Din.” He has also appeared in a few Telugu films, including “Temper,” “Rogue,” “Veta,” and “Heart,” all of which star Jr. NTR. He was most recently spotted in the 2020 movie “Gul Makai” before his imprisonment.
