During his interaction with the paparazzi, the superstar confirmed the speculations of his girlfriend Gauri Spratt, who is Bengaluru based woman and has been working with Aamir for the past 25 years.
Now, Aamir has made first ever public appearance with Gauri, since confirming their relationship, as they both attended the former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan’s wedding anniversary.
At the press meet, the Dangal star admitted that he had first met Gauri 25 years ago, and reconnected with her through his cousin, Nuzhat Khan. They have been dating for over a year now.
Aamir made a reference to his hit film, Lagaan, as he joked, “Bhuvan ko uski Gauri mil hi gayi.”
The actor shared that Gauri isn’t a huge fan of Hindi films, and just recently watched three of his movies – Lagaan, Dil Chahta Hai, and Dangal. Aamir added that he is keen for her to watch Taare Zameen Par as it was his directorial debut. Currently, Gauri is working with Aamir Khan Productions.
Gauri lives in Bengaluru and was previously married and has a six-year-old son. She is part-Irish and part-Tamil, and the couple has described themselves to be “committed.”
