Aamir Ali, who is now promoting his new web series The Trial, has spoken out about his ex-wife and actress Sanjeeda Shaikh’s suspected affair with Harshvardhan Rane. The actors have been making headlines for their rumoured romance. Several social media users have posted a couple of images from their vacation. The performers, though, have been tight-lipped about their connection.
Aamir stated in one of his interviews that he wishes Sanjeeda happiness and that he is unaware of his ex-wife’s dating status.
“It’s a free world now. I want her to be happy and do whatever she wants to do. I don’t want to get into this at all. I have no idea who is dating whom and whatever is good for her, I am happy for her,” he said.
Aamir and Sanjeeda were married for nearly nine years until they divorced. They have a daughter, Ayra, who was born through surrogacy.
The actors gained household names through their onscreen chemistry in the popular 2007 drama ‘Kya Dill Mein Hai’.
After years of dating, the couple married in 2012. Rumours of their breakup led to the birth of their surrogate baby in 2020.
In June 2023, the couple posted images from their jungle adventure to their separate Instagram pages. Fans were quick to notice that the backdrop and the jeep in which they were seated in their respective posts were similar.

While Harshvardhan, who describes himself as a private guy, has refused to discuss his alleged affair with Sanjeeda, he has informed a news outlet that he is unconcerned about the attention on his personal life.
