Charlie, the beloved dog from the popular Sandalwood movie ‘777 Charlie’, has once again won over fans by giving birth to six adorable puppies. This pleasant news has brought joy and a sense of nostalgia among fans across the country, nearly two years after the film’s release, which significantly increased viewers’ love for dogs.
Rakshit Shetty, the lead actor in ‘777 Charlie,’ was so overjoyed with the news that he interrupted his schedule to visit Mysuru, where Charlie and her new litter live. Shetty revealed his enthusiasm and the first glances of the puppies via an impromptu live stream on social media, much to his followers’ delight.
During the live session, Shetty reflected on the journey since the film’s premiere, stating that the experience seemed incomplete until Charlie had her puppies. “I always thought this journey would be complete if Charlie became a mother,” Shetty said, echoing the thoughts of the whole film crew, including director Kiran Raj.
Despite Charlie’s age and his declining chances of becoming a mother, nature had a pleasant surprise in store. Charlie defied the odds when she gave birth on May 9th. Prior to receiving the good news, the actor constantly checked in with Charlie’s trainer, Pramod.
Shetty’s impromptu choice to visit Charlie in Mysuru exemplifies the intimate friendship developed during the filming of ‘777 Charlie’, which extends beyond the cameras and the big screen. His passionate contact with Charlie and her puppies not only celebrated new life, but also rekindled the charm that made ‘777 Charlie’ such a popular film.

Charlie and her six puppies are apparently healthy, which adds another chapter to the joyful story that began in a film and is now being told in real life. Charlie gave birth to six puppies in Pramod’s residence in Mysuru. Meanwhile, Rakshit Shetty, who recorded the occasion, captured footage of puppies as well.
Throughout the shoot, Charlie appeared scared to look directly at the camera. According to Rakshit Shetty, Charlie has been exposed to so many cameras that she now dislikes facing them.
Five of the six puppies are female, while one is male.
