Mili: This 1975 classic is one of the most underrated love stories of that time.The film casts Jaya Bachchan as Mili Khanna with Amitabh Bachchan as Shekhar Dayal. It is a romantic drama film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. A reclusive, depressed man who falls in love with a bubbly young woman and later founds out that she is suffering from Cancer. The storyline has been recycled over time but Mili is one of it’s kind.
Zanjeer: After several setbacks at box office, Amitabh Bachchan gave a biggie as Zanjeer. The film established him as the ‘angry young man’ of Hindi film industry. Amidst all the action a sweet love story between Jaya and Amitabh is to die for.
