Check out the list of the top 5 of the Bollywood stars who can’t vote.
Akshay Kumar
Our superstar Akshay Kumar is not Indian. Can you believe it, he does so many patriotic movies but he cannot vote. This is because he gave up Indian citizenship way back when he was starting his career and holds a Canadian passport. As India does not offer dual citizenship, he again will have to give up Canadian citizenship to get Indian passport.
Deepika Padukone
Daughter of former badminton players, Deepika Padukone surprisingly not Indian. Her father had serious training in Copenhagen, Denmark and she was born while they were there for his training. Though she came to India before turning even a month old, but she does not have an Indian citizenship.
Alia Bhatt
Mahesh Bhatt’s darling daughter was seen not voting when she turned 21 and that’s when people started speculating her citizenship. Her mother is of British origin and she was also born in London, thus holds a British citizenship.
Imran Khan
Imran, who is the nephew of Aamir Khan holds a USA passport. He cannot vote in India and even if he wants an Indian passport he will have to pay 10 years of tax in advance. Maybe he will prefer not to vote than to give up his citizenship.

We saw her for the first time paired opposite to Ranbir Kapoor in the movie named Rockstar. We have seen her in a couple of Bollywood movies and we never thought about her of someone not from India.
