Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty was arrested few days back on drug charges related to SSR suicide case. Meanwhile the CBI officials is looking into the suicide angle, ED into the money laundering part.
Now according to a news channel, ED will soon take some serious legal actions against Rhea Chakraborty and her family. On 31st July, ED has registered a case against the accused which was filed by Sushant’s father KK Singh on 28th July. The agency has already questioned Rhea Chakraborty and her family members regarding the money laundering part. Also SSR’s former manager Shruti Modi was interrogated by them.
The legal actions which will be taken by ED is still unknown of the reason behind the cause. Apart from ED, CBI and NCB is already probing into the matter. Rhea Chakraborty and her brother are staying at jail for a period of 14 days after their bail plea was rejected by High Court.
SSR was found dead in his Bandra apartment on 14th June.
