Sushant Singh Rajput case: CBI set to summon eyewitness who saw Sushant and Rhea on 13th June

The CBI has been investigating SSR’s case and now the agency is all set to summon yet another witness in connection with the case.

Its been almost four months to the sudden and mysterious demise of actor
Sushant Singh Rajput. The Central Bureau of Investigation is actively investigating the death case and every passing day new angles are unearthed.
Now, in a fresh development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death probe, CBI is likely to summon an eyewitness who claims have seen Sushant drop Rhea Chakraborty at her apartment on 13th June, which is a day before he was found dead in his Bandra residence.

As per the reports of Republic TV, a witness has come forward who saw Sushant and Rhea on 13th June, when he dropped her at around 6-6.30 am. He was reportedly driving the car alone. The same report also states that CBI will summon the eye witness who saw the two actors meet.

After Sushant’s untimely death, the Mumbai Police began investigating the case. Later in July, the father of the late actor registered a FIR in Patna, accusing Rhea of abetment to suicide, and also leveled her with money laundering charges. The CBI began looking into the case after a Supreme Court verdict. Meanwhile, the ED and NCB also investigated, financial irregularities and a drugs angle in the case.

In the recent update, Rhea Chakraborty’s bail please has been approved by the Bombay High Court on Wednesday morning (today). Rhea was arrested by the NCB on charges of procurement and consumption of drugs.
