Sushant Singh Rajput Case: CBI now grills late actor’s driver, says reports

CBI had recently summoned Sushant Singh Rajput’s driver to grill him over the late actor’s death along with Rhea Chakraborty’s parents.

After grilling Rhea Chakraborty and brother Showik Chakraborty for five consecutive days, CBI summoned Rhea’s parents on 1st September for interrogation in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.  Now as per the reports by Times Now, on the same day CBI had also summoned the late actor’s driver and grilled him over the case. Meanwhile, the ED is questioning the Goa-based hotelier Gaurav Arya after his name reportedly came up in the ‘drug chats’ with Rhea Chakraborty.

After several days of questioning and investigation, the officers of CBI who are part of the probe, have reportedly said that the team has so far not found any evidence that suggests Sushant was murdered. However, they say that the case is still open and they are examining the suicide angle and are looking for possibilities for a case to be made for abetment to suicide.

Meanwhile, the NCB who is probing the drug angle in the case, has arrested a drug peddler who reportedly admitted that he knew Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty. Also, in a WhatsApp message accessed by the CBI, Showik Chakraborty was seen asking a drug peddler for the drugs for ‘Dad’ as the chat read, “Wanted a boom bro, dad wants… Didn’t realise his maal is over.”
