SSR Case: Last day of Rhea Chakraborty’s judicial custody, meeting between AIIMS team and CBI postponed

The judicial custody of Rhea Chakraborty ends today. On the other hand, the meeting between AIIMS team and CBI has been postponed.

The Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) investigation unearthed a drug angle linked to the mysterious death of Sushant Singh Rajput, leading to the arrest of the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda and the other drug paddlers. Rhea was arrested by NCB on 9th September and she was sent to 14-day judicial custody after her arrest. The actress was lodged at Byculla Jail and her judicial custody ends today after 14 days.

On the other hand, Times Now have reported that the meeting which was supposed to take place between the AIIMS forensic team and CBI Special Investigation Team (SIT) today, will be rescheduled .According to Times Now, the AIIMS team was supposed to submit its findings and elucidate whether Sushant’s death was a suicide or a homicide. While it was going to take place at the CBI headquarters in Delhi today, the meeting has now been postponed.

It was earlier reported by Times Now that the report would be a conclusive one and would have no contradictions. It will leave no room for any confusion.

Meanwhile, reports from several media houses state that the NCB has summoned KWAN agency CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar and Sushant’s manager Shruti Modi to join the investigation. Jaya Saha, who was quizzed by the NCB on Monday has also been reportedly summoned once again.

According to a report in Times Now, Jaya Saha named Bollywood producer Madhu Mantena in the drugs case. He will likely be summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Wednesday.
