‘Sherni’: Vidya Balan is going to resume shooting in the last week of October

Vidya Balan starrer Sherni all set to begin it’s shooting in the last week of October

Vidya Balan, is reportedly going to work on a film called ‘Sherni’,where she is going to play the role of a ‘forest officer’ in the movie. The shooting is scheduled to take place in the midst of Balaghat forest, Madhya Pradesh. However, as per reports posted by TOI, the shooting of of this movie had already begun on ‘World Wildlife Day’ in March. But due to the COVID-19 Pandemic situation. the shooting had to be stalled. The shooting would be done on real locations  in Madhya Pradesh.


‘Sherni’ directed by Amit Masurkar is based on a forest officer who is going to find out the solution to the mankind and animal conflict within the forest. The shoot is expected to begin in the last week of October, when the rains go away.


Meanwhile, the team would be flying to Nagpur. From there the team is going to continue the journey further by road. The shoot it expected to extend for 35 days. As per the security of the team is concerned, a source close to the production shared, ” A team of five to six members, who will serve as COVID-19 watchdogs, will be present on set everyday to ensure that the crew is following all safety norms. Besides the government’s guidelines, the health experts will lay down additional COVID risk management protocol. These experts are part of a professional agency that has monitored  several ad shoots over the past few month. Even as they aim to achieve a zero- incident shoot, the makers have created isolation centres for asymptomatic people, on the recommendation of the experts. ”
