
With each passing day, Sushant Singh’s death case has been taking new twist and turns and gaining attraction worldwide. Recently, when the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti initiated a global 24-hour virtual prayer meet for Sushant, the chief of Karni Sena detained for holding candle march in Delhi seeking CBI investigation.
As per eyewitness accounts, Suraj Pal Amu was arrested by Delhi Police for organizing the protest in violation of the guidelines of COVID-19. Suraj was amongst hundreds who protested at the India Gate, Delhi for a CBI probe into Sushant’s death case.
The report further added that, hundreds reached India Gate at around 4 pm on Sunday in response to Karni Sena’s call for a protest. This invitation was reportedly circulated on social media and WhatsApp groups.
With the candles, the crowd also held placards saying, “CBI inquiry for Sushant” and “Bollywood Murdabad”. The police reportedly arrested the protesters and informed them about enforcement of Section 144 of CrPC as part of COVID-19 restrictions.
Further, the report also stated that the Police have identified those detained as Badal Tanwar (Karni Sena’s Delhi chief), Dharampal Rajput (Karni Sena Delhi secretary), Manish Singh Rajput (Karni Sena Delhi spokesperson), and Suraj Pal Amu (Karni Sena national convener). They all have been booked under Section 188 of the IPC and Section 3 of the Epidemic Act along with Section 51.b of the Disaster Management Act
