On 1st October, US President Donald Trump took to Twitter to say that he and Melania Trump, the First Lady, contracted COVID-19. The POTUS had tweeted “Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” People were making all kinds of comments on the news, especially since the 1st presidential debate which took place on 30th September. There, he was seen taking a dig at the Democratic candidate Joe Biden, on how he would keep wearing masks. American rapper Kanye West revealed that he is praying for the president since he got to know the news.
The artist took to Twitter to write, “There’s a crying need for civility across the board. We need to and will come together in the name of Jesus. I’m praying for President Trump’s and Melania’s full recovery, just as I would for Joe and Jill Biden if they were stricken, as well as everyone else with COVID-19.”
