Walt Disney World is all set to update its face mask policy. The tourist attraction made it optional for guests to wear facial masks at outdoor attractions, ques and theatres starting from August 19th.
The policy states that visitors of age 2 and above are required to wear masks while travelling in any Disney World transportation including buses, the Disney Skyliner and the Disney monorail or any indoor venues like shop attractions etc.
There’s a maintenance of cleaning and sensitization throughout the resort requiring guests to make reservations in addition to purchasing a theme park ticket, only allowing entry after 2 pm and encouraging the Mobile ordering service when required.
The visitors need to register in order to use the park reservation system through the My Disney Experience Mobile App.
Walt Disney World brought back a modified park hopping option earlier this year allowing guests to enter other parts after 2 pm on purchasing the park hopping ticket.
After this time there’s no limit in the park visitation criteria as the reservation is only required for the first park.
Disney Parks are all geared up for its 50th anniversary and are consistently monitoring the situation to make sure that the guests are experiencing the Disney magic well.
