
Shahid Kapoor starrer Deva is poised to make strong impact at the box office as the advance bookings for its opening day is indicating promising figures.
As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the much anticipated action-thriller film has also earned Rs. 1.15 crore gross, in advance tickets sale, suggesting a robust start to its theatrical run.
The reports suggested that the film has collected an estimated Rs. 57.19 lakh from advanced tickets sale for its 2D Hindi shows, and an additional Rs. 60,870 from its ICE format screenings. The total collection for the film currently stands at Rs. 54.8 lakh. Including the blocked seats, the estimated total for advance booking rises to Rs. 1.15 crore.
Deva has approximately sold 22,823 tickets across 6,486 shows throughout the country.
Statewise contrubution towards the advance sales includes Delhi at Rs. 18.76 lakh, Gujarat with Rs. 14.89 lakh, Maharashtra with Rs. 12.82 lakh, Uttar Pradesh with Rs. 9.56 lakh, and Karnataka with Rs. 7.07 lakhs.
The movie Deva shall feature Shahid playing the role of a defiant police officer. It also stars Pooja Hedge, as the female lead, playing the role of a journalist. Deva is scheduled to hit the theatres tomorrow, on January 31.
