Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava seems to be unstoppable at the box office. It registered the biggest opening for 2025 so far, and has managed to top its opening day numbers on Day 2. In fact, it has also crossed the Rs. 50 crore mark with ease.
On its second day, Chhaava registered a total collection of Rs. 36.50 crore (nett), as per early estimates. With its opening day collection of Rs. 31 crore, the total now stands at Rs. 67.50 crore.
Not just collection wise, but the movie has also been performing good in terms of occupancy, as overall it had an occupancy of 50.39 per cent on Saturday.
The reports have suggested that Chhaava has been made on the budget of Rs. 130 crore, and given its momentum, the film should cross Rs. 100 crore mark on its first week and is on its way to become a hit. It remains to be seen if Chhaava becomes Vicky’s biggest hit ever. The spot is currently taken by URI: The Surgical Strike, which minted over Rs. 244 crore nett, which was directed by Aditya Dhar.
Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar, wherein Vicky is playing the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna.
