Bombay High Court on 28th September asked for a clarification from Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut. They were hearing Kangana Ranaut’s petition against “the illegal demolition” at her Bandra bungalow which took place on 9th September by the BMC. They have asked the politician if he has used derogatory words against actor after the demolition of her office.
A short clip was played in front of the bench, of the minister using an expletive word. This was played at the virtual hearing to allege ‘malice’ in the demolition action. Bombay Times have quoted the justice saying “Are you saying that he is not calling her a ‘h*******r’?”
Raut’s counsel Pradeep Thorat said that the clip had ‘no mention’ of Ranaut’s name. Justice Kathawalla asked “Are you saying that he has not referred to her when he said that ‘ladki’?” Thorat will submit Sanjay Raut’s reply on 29th September. The HC asked Kangana Ranaut’s counsels, Birendra Saraf and Rizwan Siddiquee, to submit the entire interview, tweets and other clips.
