Bigg Boss 17 has kick started and fans are glued to their tv screens to see what the show has to offer this year. While the Bigg Boss house welcomed a total of 18 contestants this year, the most buzzed name inside the house is actress Ankita Lokhande. It seems like makers of Bigg Boss dream came true with Ankita signing the contract as they approached her for past 3-4 seasons, however she always turned down the offer.
This year the actress revealed that her husband Vicky Jain was the one who convinced her for the show.
Ankita Lokhande, adored for her iconic role as Archana in Pavitra Rishta, has always been in the news. Whether it’s her acting projects, her love story, or her grand wedding to businessman Vicky Jain, Ankita has always been in the spotlight. Before stepping into the Bigg Boss house, in an interview with ETimes TV, she opened up about her participation, her desire to show her authentic self on the show, and how she’s not on Bigg Boss 17 to construct a specific image.
Ankita mentions that she has always got judged by people throughout her journey. But, she says, “It’s fine to be judged because at the end of the day, people are going to know the reality. Mujhe kisi chiz ka koi darr nahi hai and I’m not here to set any kind of image. Meri image bohot achi hai apne Nazar mein.”
She continues, “I want to show people on the show a different side of Ankita. How, I’m in real life, how I think, eat, sleep and I’m going to enjoy the most looking at my journey. Forget about the audience once I comeback from the show, I want to see each and every episode and see how I’m looking on the show. I’m not at all worried about what people will think about me.”
It will be interesting to see Ankita’s journey unfold with time in the Bigg Boss 17 house.
