During a conversation with Abhishek Kumar in the garden area, Ankita mentioned how his physique reminded her of Sushant. When Abhishek noted that they had similar journeys, Ankita pointed out that he didn’t have a temper issue like Sushant, saying, “Bohot shaant tha” (He was very composed). She went on to speak highly of Sushant, praising his passion and dedication to his work. She described him as a hardworking perfectionist who delved deep into his projects, highlighting his commitment and attention to detail.
Ankita Lokhande also shared how Sushant Singh Rajput would be affected by others’ opinions and what people said about him. She revealed that he cared deeply about how he was perceived and how others perceived him. She mentioned that he would get involved in various matters and that even minor fluctuations in his public image would affect him. She explained that Sushant would contemplate people’s opinions and concerns a lot, and she attributed this sensitivity to his small-town background. While getting teary-eyed as she remembered Sushant Singh Rajput, Ankita Lokhande assured Abhishek that there was no need to apologize for bringing him up. In fact, she expressed that she feels proud when talking about Sushant. She said, “Uske baare me baat karna achha hi lagta hai” (I like talking about him). She continued, “I feel proud of him. Very proud. He is family,” underscoring the strong connection she had with the late actor.
Ankita Lokhande shared that her husband, Vicky Jain, was also a friend of Sushant and stood by her side after Sushant’s demise. She expressed how challenging it was when someone close to you passes away, and mentioned that no one really stood up for him. Ankita appreciated the support and handling of the situation by Vicky, which enabled her to cope with the difficult circumstances following Sushant’s passing.
