Late songwriter and music composer Bappi Lahiri was last seen on-screen on the set of Bigg Boss 15, where he talked and had fun with the contestants in the house. When the news of his demise surfaced all the contestants paid their respects to him by posting on their social media accounts.
Shamita Shetty wrote,” A man of incredible talent and melody has left us. he shall always stay golden in our hearts. My condolences to his family and fans.”
Neha Bhasin wrote, “Dearest Bappi Sa, I am in disbelief, woke up to this saddest news.it feels like a personal loss. We just celebrated your 69th Birthday, gone way too soon. Your legend will always live on. A legend with a heart of gold. Miss you Bappi Da, Om Shanti.”
Tejaswi Prakash also wrote,” Rest in peace Bappi Da! To the end of an era… we all grew up listening and grooving to your songs. You will forever be remembered. Om Shanti.”
Runner up of Bigg Boss 13 Pratik Sehajpal posted the late songwriter’s picture on his Instagram story saying,” Om Namah Shivaye”
Nishant Bhat remembers him by putting the story,” Forever the Disco King, RIP Bappi Da.”
Rajiv Adatia posted saying,” So sad to hear the passing of Bappi Da… Rest In Peace! Love and strength to the family!”
Umar Riaz also mentioned his condolences.
