The movie had a strong opening at the second weekend at the box office. It also surpasses the second Sunday box office numbers on the first day of the second week. Given how Bollywood films have done since the Covid-19 outbreak, the tendency indicates that the film will have a lifetime total of  Rs. 20 crore, which is not a terrible outcome.

The first week of Badhaai Do was low, but the momentum was robust. It demonstrates that the public is more than willing to spend more money on a money-worthy and time-worthy film like Badhaai Do.

The remarkable trend continued into the second weekend. Sales increased by more than 100% on its second Saturday compared to its second Friday, and then by another 30% on its second Sunday compared to its second Saturday.

The statistics of Badhaai Do may not appear to be particularly impressive, with a ten-day gross of around Rs. 16.5 crore total, but the trend that the film has witnessed is worth noting.

However, Badhaai Do has only three days to earn well before blockbuster films like Valimai, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Bheemla Naayak swoop in and take up the bulk of the theatres.
