Officially, Dr. Stone is nearing its end. The fourth and last season of the anime, Dr. Stone: Science Future, adapts the last chapters of Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi’s manga. The season, which is being produced by TMS Entertainment, will be released in three courses, the last of which is scheduled for April 2026.
Dr. Stone Season 4 Release Date Speculations
Dr. Stone: Science Future has already aired its first two courses. Cour 2 began on July 10, 2025, and ended in September 2025, while Cour 1 began on January 9, 2025, and ran through March 2025.
The precise release date and number of episodes have not yet been revealed. The split-cour pauses between episodes are in line with the last season’s schedule, and the Dr. Stone anime adaptation will officially conclude in April 2026. It is expected that streaming would continue on sites like Crunchyroll, with same-day English dubs available in a number of locations.
Dr. Stone Season 4 Expected Cast
Along with well-known characters like Taiju, Tsukasa, Kohaku, Chrome, Ryusui Nanami, and Gen Asagiri, the core voice cast—led by Yusuke Kobayashi as Senku Ishigami—is making a comeback for the last cour.
Many significant new characters have already been introduced in Season 4, especially those from the American colony arc. These include Stanley Snyder (voiced by Kōji Yusa) and Dr. Xeno (voiced by Kenji Nojima), as well as a number of minor characters who are crucial to the story’s global development.
Trailers and images for the final course in particular hinted to the arrival of Sai, who turns out to be Ryusui Nanami’s older brother. Although his existence has been confirmed, no voice actor has been announced as of yet, thus limiting information about the character before the conclusion.
Dr. Stone Season 4 Potential Plot
Without delving into significant spoilers, Season 4 follows Senku and the Kingdom of Science as they go outside of Japan in pursuit of explanations for the petrification phenomenon. Large-scale conflicts in America, the emergence of Dr. Xeno’s technologically sophisticated faction, and events that altered the stone world once more were the subjects of earlier courses.
The last course deals with the fallout from those worldwide events and moves into the New Stone World arc. The plot advances toward its ultimate objective of massively rejuvenating humanity, advancing science at a never-before-seen rate, and ultimately addressing the question of Why-man, including the long-teased ambition of reaching space, as new alliances and long-standing rivalries are created.
As Senku’s vision for the future is put to the final test, teaser film suggests increased stakes, ambitious scientific endeavors, and emotional resolutions. Science, collaboration, and the conviction that humanity can always rebuild are all positioned as the culmination of everything the series has developed since its start.
