A manipulated video of the actress from a brand promotion interview is circulating online. Her face remains unaltered in controversial video. However, her voice and original lines are substituted with a fake brand endorsement, where she appears to disclose her annual earnings.

Priyanka Chopra Falls Prey To Deepfake

Earlier, a video of Alia Bhatt has gone viral on social media. In the video, the actress’s face is edited over a different lady, and the latter can be seen sitting on the bed.

For the unversed, Rashmika Mandanna was the first celebrity to fall prey to deepfake. Her face was replaced on a British influencer’s body, and it quickly went viral. In response, the actress wrote, “I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online.” Further, she called the situation “extremely scary”. After the video went viral, several celebrities including Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Mrunal Thakur voiced their concern over it.
